Hi.

I upgraded from R5A30.1 to R5B7 on Saturday, and since I've noticed that all of the recordings made after the upgrade are a lot louder (to the point of being too loud and clipping) since the upgrade.

The KnoppMyth box runs as a headless backend, and the clients are 3 Macs, all running the Mac version of the frontend, and the problem occurs on all of them, but not with the recordings made before the upgrade.

Not quite sure where to start poking to fix this. I searched the forums and didn't really see anything relevant. I am getting audible sound, not the buzzing that other people are getting, but it doesn't sound very good because it's clipping.

The capture card is a PVR-500. Other hardware details are here, or in my post in the Tier 1 section of the forums.

Thanks in advance.

Or maybe I was just on crack. Or maybe my cable company was. Or maybe my MythBox was just scared of me poking at it with all of your suggestions and fixed itself in cowardice... Regardless, the problem seems to have magically gone away.
