Has MythTV in KnoppMyth R5B7 release been compiled with dvb_using_eit so that EPG information could be retrieved without the use of XMLTV? Or will MythTV need to be recompiled with the option enabled?

Does the OTA EPG require any further tweaking apart from ticking the EIT box in the channel editor in mythtv-setup?

Having just done that, I get absolutely nothing nor does the output of mythfrontend or mythbackend mention anything relating to EIT.

Don't think so, just leave it on for a few mins, the EPG info should appear by itself.
Or mine does anyway, using Hauppague Nova-T DVB cards. :)
