Don't think so, just leave it on for a few mins, the EPG info should appear by itself.
Or mine does anyway, using Hauppague Nova-T DVB cards.

Has MythTV in KnoppMyth R5B7 release been compiled with dvb_using_eit so that EPG information could be retrieved without the use of XMLTV? Or will MythTV need to be recompiled with the option enabled? |

Does the OTA EPG require any further tweaking apart from ticking the EIT box in the channel editor in mythtv-setup? Having just done that, I get absolutely nothing nor does the output of mythfrontend or mythbackend mention anything relating to EIT. |
