I need to move my current config to a new system ,
as there a lot of hardware cahanges , just moving the HDD ends with a kernal panic during boot. ( and the old linux has has so many things played with) I'd like to just move my input cards and config (channel and tuner)

the old system was a .18 the new is a .19 .

will there be any issues just backing up from one and restoring on the other ?

1) Run mythbackup on the old box.
2) Move the HDD to the new box.
3) Run autoupgrade on the new box.
