I recently did a fresh install of R5B7 on the following hardware. M/B - ASUS A8N-SLI Capture Card - PVR-350 Memory - 1GB HD - 300GB SATA I used snapperdragon's most recent script for the pvr350. All works fine except for the fact that when I enter "LiveTV", it imediately starts recording. Every time I change the channel, it stops it's current recording & starts another. If I go to the recording section & try and delete the recordings, it hangs when I try and delete the last recording and am forced to reboot the machine or ssh into it and do a an /etc/rc5.d/S99gdm restart. To avoid the hang as well as having my hd fill up while watching livetv I have to delete on a regular basis but always leave at least one recording. I've rebuilt this many times, restarted the backend and rebooted. I've tried removing & re-installing the card and nothing seems to work. Ideas ? -Proto |

Thanks for that link! I was at the point of writing an FAQ on that one myself. We've had close to a dozen different people ask this now because they hadn't bothered to read the MythTV release notes. |
