Is there a page down button feature for scrolling through search results, i.e. search by keyword results. If there are lots of hits on your search criteria it is painfully slow scrolling down line by line |

The PageDown key has always worked for me... Are you talking about using the remote? For that you'll probably need to do a custom button mapping in your /home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc file. |

Sorry, yes I was referring to the remote control. My lircrc file contains a mapping that states CH+ = Up and CH- = Down so I take it I just need to change that so CH+ = PgUp and CH- = Pgdwn ? Thanks |

In addition to this is there any plans to have it show how many records its found when doing a search ie. Page 1 of 3 etc etc ? |

I've found that for some things where you're repeating a lot, my IR keyboard is much more responsive. Scrolling up/down, and skip fwd/back, are like this. I think it's got to do with the way that remotes need to compensate for repeats. If I play with "irw", I'll see the remote sending 2-3 events for remote click. So it's got to handle that, and probably has some "settle time" logic to avoid sending unwanted events. And then there's the whole socket arrangement, which probably adds a bit of delay. And the keyboard, by comparision, is more predictable and instantaneous. I notice that my snapstream remote is more responsive than the learned codes on my SONY remote. |

In some screens, 1,7,3,9 operate as pgup/pgdn/home/end. Dont know if that helps in your case. |
