I just ordered my card but i would like to install knoppmyth before i get my card so its ready. Will it mess up my install if i don't have my PVR card in there? Will it be harder to configure? I just want to mess around with linux and compare mythTV and gbpvr |

It should not mess anything up. Once you get the card, is will hopfully be seen. Once X starts, it will automatically kick you into mythtv-setup to setup the card. |

I have had little experience with linux. I am wondering on how to set up my harddrive. I have an 80 gb hda and a 200gb hdb I want to store my movies on 200gb hd. Also is there anyway that i could make it so my windows computers could have access to them? |

I have a pet peeve about asking multiple questions in the same thread. You original query has been answered... Move on. Search the forum and read the wiki (LVM and Samba). Your queries have been answered, how-tos have been laided out... |

Thanks for telling me what to search for. I'm reading up on it now. When going to: http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=LvmHowTo the only thing that appears is EditThisPage 'DocsPage' and a big text box with no info. |
