Alright, so I have tried different flavours of linux before, but not for a media PC. I would also still consider a newb when it comes to linux. My question is whether this setup is possible using knoppmyth. I have a wireless card that needs ndiswrapper to be used. A Hauppauge PVR-150 used with its IR Blaster to a digital cable set-top box, an ATI TV Wonder Elite connected to standard cable, and the ATI Remote wonder included with the ATI TV Wonder Elite. Anyone know if this will work, and without too much difficulty? Thanks in advance for your help. |

it should all work, but you'll have to do some work to get it there. The irblaster with the 150 doesn't work "out of the box" there is a howto around here somewhere and maybe on the wiki. Also ndiswrapper will require a little bit of configuration, and the download of the windows driver of course. |

I won't swear to it. I know the old ati wonder tuner cards worked fine, but I have no idea about the elite and what the difference is. If it is supported by the bttv driver then it should work. |
