Post subject:  Ugly SQL error and now MythWeb doesn't work

I have been running KnoppMyth R5A30.2 for quite some time and it has been working pretty well. This morning I got into MythWeb remotely and was doing some looking around. At one point in the "jump to" box the date dropdown became empty. I tried clicking on it and there was nothing populated in the box. I tried reloading the page and eventually came up with an error saying it wasn't sure the backend was running. I SSH'd in and the backend was running. So was mythfilldataba (this is not a misspelling, this is what ps -A reported) and when I ran top it was showing that mysqld was pegging the proc and had been for 600 some odd minutes. Anyway, I decided to reboot the machine and when it came up I tried to access MythWeb again and got the error you see as the subject. Just FYI the error is :
Code:
Fatal Error at /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/includes/programs.php, line 138:
SQL Error: Can't open file: 'program.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Any suggestions as to the remedy for this? I'm guessing the database is hosed up bad. I don't suppose there's a way to fix it.

Thanks in advance,
Phekno

Upon further investigation, the database is really hosed. My recordings are all intact and everything seems OK, however, I checked what recording were coming up and that was blank. Any suggestions? No one has responded so far so I'm probably just going to do the upgrade and hope that fixes everything.

According to http://www.filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=.myi
it's an index file. Definitely not a good sign. They're stored in:
./var/lib/mysql/mythconverg

You could try checking and repairing the DB for errors...

I figured this would be as good a time as any to upgrade to R5B7 and I'm happy. I didn't actually do the upgrade. I ended up starting over from scratch. cesman's last post didn't get to me in time before I hosed the entire installation. Everything works wonderfully now. Thanks for your help.
