I just up graded my system to B7 and after I got it to see my 2 PVR150s I ran into this problem.

When I to go watch TV I get a very brief black screen and then back to the menu. No errors that I can see.

But I can set both of my tuners to record seperate programs and then watch them as they are being recorded from the media library so I know they are working. I searched the forum but I did not find anyone that seemed to be having the same prob.

Please help.

Hi,

Try going through your settings, including mythtv-setup, sounds like it is not looking at /myth/tv for a path. I have had simular happenings with upgrades.

I found it. I re-ran setup and I found one of my tuners was set to television and not tuner. all fixed. Now on to the next problem.

Thanks for the help.

Ah, yeah that's an artifact of the ivtv driver upgrade. Cecil's R5B7 announcement actually includes a warning about this... http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9039
