As with so many other things this question has been asked before. Searching for posts by "cecil" or "cesman" that contain the word "knoppix" is your best bet:

None. While the Knoppix scripts are used, R5 is built from scratch.

I am trying to find solution to my TV tuner driver problem. I am getting log entries concerning dvb-ttpci-module so where should I find answers?

I asume that the number 2.6.15-chw-2 is linux kernel number? Is this 2.6.15-chw-2 "pure" official kernel.org kernel? :?

I'd guess that the "chw" stands for Cecil H. Watson, which would indicate that he's done at least some patching. On the other hand I think he also includes the patches with the kernel source... Worse comes to worst, you can always get the official 2.6.15 source and do a recursive diff on the trees...

All the kernels I get are from kernel.org w/ various patches for software suspend, bootsplash etc. This is certainly an odd way to start a thread off. Might I suggest in the future you simply cut to the chase.... For instance, instead of stating you have message about xzy, perhaps posting that message.
