Thanks for all the great advice in this forum. I've finally hooked up our old TV and got KnoppMyth installed but when I select Live TV from the menu, it tells me that the Hauppauge 150 is recording which it isn't. I've checked throught the set up for recording profiles and there aren't any yet. What the devil is it recording??? |

The first thing to do is go to information center and check the tuner status. That will clue you in to what Myth thinks it is doing. |

Hi, I found that this error occured when Mythtv didn't have write priviledges for the directory that held the live tv recordings ( /myth/tv? ). Check the owner and rwx settings for this folder. Cheers Parsnip |
