Installed Release 5 B7 and because I wanted to dual boot with XP and use a second drive for /myth, I did the manual install, but kept getting strange error messages. Finally did an auto install but it still would not boot, tried several times with same results, no boot. Was assuming lilo MBR was not installed so put install Knoppmyth CD back in and booted from that, checked everything and it seemed OK. So chroot'ed to hda1 and tried to manually lilo and got to see the error message. part not a recognized command! Commented out the part line and ran lilo again, lilo installed, and boot now successful. Moved /myth to the second large disk and put XP back in the forth partition. (Darn if XP now would not install, it seems XP requires two partitions positions for install, and when you do leaves you with 8mb of unusable disk space!) |

What is it you are trying to say (BTW: this is by no means tier 2)? KnoppMyth doesn't officially support dual-boot. There are various post on the forum that detail how to set this up. |
