Location: Minnesota- Brrrrr!
I am currently using a streamzap IR receiver and remote, but would like to have additional IR receivers for other recently acquired boxes.

Criteria would include:

* Inexpensive
* IR sensitivity \ compatibility

I am hoping that others will report their experience. Please be sure to include cost and a URL to the supplier. Thank you.

A DIY USB receiver that works as a keyboard, costs < $10, requires no configuration in LinHES (everything is configured on the receiver before plugging it into the LinHES box):

I am not sure what you consider inexpensive but I have been usuing MCE Remote Control from ebay. Cost $20-$25. Plug and play and is even programmable for TV power and volume
