Works great.
With XvMC turned on Standard definition uses 36% cpu, High definition uses 56% cpu.

I cannot get the remote to work.

The computer is an ex business computer
Compaq DeskPro EN with PIII 933 processor, 512mb ram, Nvidia Geforce MX video card, Two Winfast DTV1000T tuner cards, Harddrive is 40gb.

The computer cost $50, Video card $60, Two tuners $80 X 2

Total cost = $270, cheaper then a high definition tuner box!!

I've got a very similar setup running at the moment:

Processor I can't remember but it's a 1.8GHz, 512MB RAM, GeForce MX460, 1 Winfast DTV1000t, 80GB HDD with DMA enabled, Samsung LE32R74BDX LCD via VGA.

Everything installed and worked right out of the box with the exception of the remote (which I can't figure out how to get working).

However, I can't seem to find a setting for playback that I'm happy with. On most recordings, using Bob with XvMC and OpenGL vsync, things look great. But sometimes on the BBC, it breaks up really badly and I can't use XvMC. Also, nothing I've tried at all looks silky smooth when watching football (soccer for the guys over the water).

What settings are you using and how does sport look (especially when the camera pans across)??

Cheers
