I just built and config'd my KnoppMyth pseudo-dragon remote frontend, which is basically the mythic.tv dragon minus the tuners (I chose an AMD 3700 2.2GHz CPU). Stuffed the hardware into a 4U rackmount case and shoved it into my entertainment center. Not as pretty as the Silverstone case, but it'll do for now.
Absolutely no probs with the assembly of the hardware or the installation of R5D1.
Had to edit XF86Config-4 because of the connection via DVI-to-HDMI to my 42" Samsung HP-S4253 plasma TV (default XF86Config-4 worked just to get a picture, but it was barely tolerable. I used a copy of Jarod Wilson's XF86Config-4 to get started, and edited it to suit my system).
Can't say enough good things about this system. It does everything I ask of it, and if the Internal video player ever gets finished percolating, I'll have a perfect mythical convergence appliance!
