| Post subject: | channel trouble on reboot |
This is my first time on myth. I used a dragon1, with an air2pc, setup and R5e50 and everthing worked... got all the broiadcast channels However each time I reboot I get a "cannot connect to backend error". If I follow the instructions in the wiki(*) to run mythfilldatabase, and then restart myth, once again I can find and play channels Any clues? --G (*)http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=MythBackendNotRunning |

If you've installed KnoppMyth and things just worked without having edit anything. This posting doesn't consitute a recommendation, so do not be surprised in Cecil removes it as "off topic". As for your problem, please see the R5E50 Upgrade hints thread here http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13108, and look for the patched backend init script. |
