I've still got to tweak the modeline I'm using a bit to shift the image it to the right about half an inch, but the picture is spectacular. I'm connected from the NVIDIA VGA to the TV's VGA connector at 1360x780 resolution. The display's native resolution is 1366x780, so it's just about perfect. I've got this sitting right next to the TV, and the only thing audible is the slight whir of the hard drive, and of course the DVD drive, which is also extremely quiet, which is a huge step up from the Xbox 360 I've been using to play DVDs. The motherboard is also very nice, as it has PCI-X for video, SATA and PATA drive connectors, on-board sound with optical out, and 3 PCI slots. All in all, I am extremely pleased with KnoppMyth, so kudos to the devs and the MythTV devs. |
