# Video type: HDTV or SDTV
# Type of system: Front-end
# Noise level: Noticeable from 8-12 ft away but this case isn't ideal for an HTPC.
# CASE: Rosewill R5605-BK. Note that is is a regular mid-tower case. This PC was not built to be a LinHES computer. I just wanted to test the install and function of LinHES on the hardware. I would highly recommend that you do not use this case for your LinHES box!
# PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W
# MOTHERBOARD: DFI BI P45-T2RS (Intel P45 ATX)
# CPU: C2D E6500
# RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Desktop Memory Model CMD4GX2M2A1066C5
# CPU HEATSINK: XIGMATEK HDT-S1284EE with mounting bracket XIGMATEK ACK-I7753. Note that this is overkill. The standard Intel HSF is fine for this application.
# NORTHBRIDGE HEATSINK: (the one that came with the MB)
# CD/DVD-RW: Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Rewritable Drive Black SATA Model AD-7240S-0B
# HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB
# GRAPHICS CARD: MSI N210-MD512H GeForce 210 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16
# SOUNDCARD: (Onboard)
# TUNER CARD: NONE
# REMOTE CONTROL: Streamzap remote (USB)

My reason for posting here is to give the community some feedback using kinda modern components. The P45 chipset has been out for a little while and is a great chipset. Also, any number of C2D chips are great CPUs. The E6500 is a newer 45 nm fab chip. Many of the older 65 nm fab chips should work fine too.
