It took some trial and error, but I finally got it up and running. I am using an old Celeron 533 with 256MB RAM, 160GB harddrive and the PVR-350 with the TV-out feature enabled (NTSC).

I do notice problems fast forwarding recordings...sometimes mplayer freezes up and I do notice a problem with it jumping 3 minutes back into commercials I fast forwarded through. I am sure there is some setting that I missed though. Since I have not put too much time into it yet, I will probably install (not upgrade) R5A26.

You're not really providing much details. What motherboard are you using?

Note that the signature block is actually pretty minimal due to the 255 character lmit. See my Tier 2 posting for an example of REAL detail. ;-)
