All hardware worked, with output to VGA Monitor attempted so far (TV to be attempted later):

-KnoppMyth R4v2
-GForce4 ti 4400
-Hauppage PVR-350 (and the remote)

I'm using my friend's pvr 350 tuner card, but I'm going to buy it for myself now and build my own system. I'll test my Shuttle sn41g2 system. It should work as it's basically the same platform as the asus a7n8x.

Did you have to do anything besides the auto install or did it really just work?

Without doing anything fancy, this worked out of the box. I used vga output, but going through an nvidia svideo out on an add in video card is as easy as copying the XF86Config-4.nvidia.sample to XF86Config-4 in the /etc/X11 directory.

I did not do extensive long duration tests, though...I verified that the install worked and detected all the hardware. TV capture and playback worked, so did audio and dvd ripping . Basically, the board and pvr- 350 card and remote worked flawlessly when I used this hardware.

Right now I've got my shuttle sn41g2 system being burned in and tested. After a bios update, it's been flawless. It's hooked up to my 61" rear projection. It's basically the same hardware as the a7n8x.
