# CURRENT ISSUSE: Analog sound on HD5500 not working and I still have to connect to my TV... (Song kV-36HS510)

Other than the items that I still need to get up and running this install had some minor issues. I’m not sure if they were due to my lack of experience with linux or what. For some reason the system would get stuck at "Waiting for /DEV to populate". Other times it would get stuck during launch, but I was able to get around this by doing a /debug at install. Besides that I had to do the "Blacklist" to get my PVR-500 sound to work. I’ve also added the babysit (backend and commflag) scripts. All in all I must say that it wasn’t difficult just had to do alot of reading and research for this first timer.
