I've had to do some playing around, to say the least, to get to this point. I've got the remote control working (as per the r5e50 upgrade tips thread). I've got the updated Nvidia graphics driver and kernel source code needed to get it. I've got nuvexport working. I've got xvid to work with ffmpeg so i can get the correct bit rate out. I've got scripts working to convert recorded tv, both hd and sd, to xvid in their native aspect ratios. i've had to edit quite a few files. Just wanted to get it out there that this hardware config works great. keep up the good work everyone . . .

i'm thinking about trying to upgrade the version of xvid included in this release . . . i hear 1.2.0 used together with mencoder might yield considerable faster encoding times . . . i need to read some more . . .
