It's 90% working. I replaced the "laptop" CDROM drive with a "laptop" DVD drive I got off Ebay for $50. Seems to work. At least it did before I reinstalled KnoppMyth. I had several problems. Here's where to look for the fixes. - No boot after install Turned out to be a problem with the hard drive MBR. Something didn't "take". I tried everything...reformat, re-install, finally got a LILO prompt after installing Win2K. Go figure. Try FDISK /MBR if you have this problem. - No Audio The thing that finally worked for me was to modify ~mythtv/.fvwm/.fvwm2rc and comment out the "exec KnoppMyth-start" line, then add a "exec mythfrontend" - No remote I thought I did this, but the grey remote didn't work. Log on as root, then type "install-i686-l". |
