Mach Speed Matrix P4M800 Via Socket 478
Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP RM
Intel Celeron D 340 2.93GHz
512MB Ram
250GB EIDE Hard Drive
eVGA Nvidia Geforce MX4000 64MB DDR Video Card with S-Video Out

Capture card was detected correctly but the tuner was not.
It detected as tuner=4
Based on this Wiki doc:
http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... V2000XPdlx
I changed the tuner to tuner = 43 and that got my tuner working!

That Motherboard does not have an audio in header on the board so I ended up plugging the audio cable from the
capture card to the CD in on the Motherboard.

Right off the bat I was getting sound 2 seconds ahead of the video. Did some digging around and found what I
needed to do at:
http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-7.html#ss7.2

I tried the command line stuff first but couldn't get it working. I then used "alsamixer -V all" and set the
correct settings there and that got it working. I had to enable the CD in to be captured and mute it as well
as set the other settings as documented. I also found that the audio was coming through a bit garbled and
had to turn the CD volume down to about 45% to clear it up.

Next task was to get the remote working. The card I got came with the Y0400052 remote. Google helped me find
this site:

He used the same capture card as me so I grabbed the lircrc and lircd.conf he used and that got my remote working.
I did have to add the tab key to lircrc for use in "Import CD." Tab isn't supported natively so I had to use irxevent.

Next was getting it to play on my TV. My video card has S-Video out and I had not plugged it into my TV until
this point. It might have detected my TV on install and got that working right off the bat had I plugged it in
during install. So once again it was back to the wiki.

Using that and the sample nvida config file got me up and working fairly painlessly.
