There were minor changes to config files I had to make to get things working perfectly. First, the permissions for the DVD burner are set to prohibit the mythburn scripts from working, so I had to modify that. I also had to update the mythburn scripts from CVS, as the ones that came with the ISO failed at the remultiplexing video stage.
For aesthetics, I had to set the .fluxbox/apps file to include this line
[startup] {xvattr -a XV_COLORKEY -v 0}
That removed the strange blue lines on the top and left of the screen (a known issue with the NVidia drivers).
The hardware is all well-supported. There are issues with the default settings with the software, but we're dealing with beta software right?

Using R5C7, the issues I had were gone. No blue line, no mythburn problems, all good.
