I'm running R5F27, and had just installed it on my system with a DViCO Fusion 5 card (U.S. ATSC). Everything worked! I was getting OTA HD from local channels, et cetera.

Then I got a bright idea...

I wanted to see what I could tune off the local TimeWaner feed. So I set multiple lineups in SchedulesDirect (local broadcast, cable, digital cable) and went back through mythtv-setup. I was only able to tune about four channels (all locals) while the rest gave me 'partial lock.' I decided to give that up and go back to local broadcast channels.

Now, going back through mythtv-setup, I try to get MythTV to get the channels from the listing source without doing a scan as I'd done before. When clicking the 'Fetch channels' button, I could try to go to the next box and the cursor wouldn't move right away, so I know it was doing something. Now it doesn't do that anymore. What's worse, in my capture card setup, the Fusion 5 used to show several different inputs (DVB, Television, composite, and s-video)--now it only shows the main (television) input.

Something appears to have been corrupted in the configuring/re-configuring process. Short of a reinstall, how could I correct this issue?

Drop all your sources and recreate them. See the BlackScreenWatchingTV page on the wiki for directions. Don't forget that you also need to reestablish your Input Connections after doing this.

tjc--

That was the first thing I tried. I deleted the card, sources, inputs (whatever the three sections are for the card in setup, I don't have the box on right now). I then re-selected everything and got the same results as before. That was a head scratcher as I had performed that procedure previously with no problems.

I decided to try a fresh install rather than wait. I got the same results--the card does not show the additional inputs any longer. Wierd...
