I am using R5.5 and had a issue with tinny audio recorded with my PVR-150
I am using the delayed settings script in my change_channel.sh
This works great but just wondering if I do a new install does R6
still have this problem?

Thanks

I had the problem in 5.5 and had that "wrapper" script to reset the 150's audio.

Just upgraded to R6 yesterday and didn't include the wrapper script, partly to see what would happen and partly because I forgot that custom /usr/bin/ stuff would be lost during an upgrade.

I heard the problem once in about 6 subsequent recordings I made with it. I'm going to try a better test today (all the recordings were on the same channel, maybe channel changing is part of the problem) but it's possible the problem is still there.

Sorry I didn't see this.

I thought the problem was gone in R6, but it just happens less frequently. It got me again recently so I brought back the "wrapper" script described on the KnoppMythWiki (search for "tinny audio" and it'll turn up). I just added a note to that page that the position of scripts changed to /usr/bin/ from /usr/local/bin/

I had this problem with a recording the other day. Time to dig up the old script again.

I am using R6.03 and a PVR-150.
