Let's do it! I'm up for any of the three weekends b4 xmas. Let's get ol' Cecil up here and force-feed him a margarita or two!

I have a feeling there will be no "forcing" Cecil to drink a margarita... :D

OK -- what type of food do you want? Mexican? Indian? Something else? Let me know.

Anyone else joining?

If I were picking the place, I'd go for the Fiesta del Mar, Too again. I really like that place.

Sold -- we meet at Fiesta del Mar Too in downtown MV, followed by Peets and Fry's. Sounds like the same path as last time. See you at noon on Sunday.

Anyone else joining us?

Marc

1. Lunch at Fiesta Del Mar Too on Villa St at noon.
2. Coffee at the Peets located ~4 blocks away.
3. Shopping trip to the Palo Alto Fry's.

Here's a link to the entire route.[/quote]

Just saw this thread now. I live in Dublin, way out in the boonies of the east bay ;-) Between that & having small kids w/es are always tough but I thot I'd post to this thread so at least I'd be notified of future events...

Have fun guys

Welcome to the thread.. I'm in Danville, so we've got an "east bay contingent going" (I know a third guy that's in the Oakland hills .. and his father-in-law is up in El Cerito. Not sure that dad would attend, but we can ask!)

I had suggested a "Fry's Circuit" of gatherings around the Bay Area Fry's locations. Someone would just have to suggest a restaurant near the host Fry's. 8)

OK, it sounds like it is time to set up another gathering. Would having the next event near the Fremont Fry's make it easier for the east-bay group?

Sure. I'm ambidextrous. I can do Fremont just as easily as M.V./P.A.

There's a sort of restaurant in Frys in Fremont, altho I've never actually walked in there. Might be an option?

Maybe pick up a new router while we're there ;-) I'm actually running the WRT320N with DDWRT at home, not sure I'd entirely recommend it tho, it gets bloody hot & DDWRT can be a slightly flaky (I had been blaming DDWRT all along but I have read of a few WRT310N-specific issues with DDWRT). Still, it works overall & I'm happy enough. This is a fantastic price.

Linksys WRT320N / WRT400N Refurbished $49.90
