If anyone can point me to a supplier \ part # of a USB IR receiver (no remote needed), that would be appreciated. A link would be ideal. Please state if you have used this item successfully with LH or KM. Thank you.

I am using this oneon both a LINHES 6.04 and 7.2 system. It goes on sale periodically for $14 + free shipping...

It is able to receive ir for both 38k and 56k remotes, and command up to 16 devices. Works with LH.

These work out of the box with LINHES 7.2 -- simply configure it as an MCEUSB remote.

You do not need to use the remote -- simply discard it if you don't want it. I use mine with my Harmony.
