I kept getting this red warning in Xymon that "hostname" myth_mtc did not run.
TL;DR version: the "Watch Recordings" menu doesn't count as a menu to myth_mtc

So I saw that I had left the frontend in "watch recordings" overnight so I tried running myth_mtc.py manually and i got the warning that it wasn't in menus I exited out and tried again and I got a whole bunch of permission denied warnings because I didn't run as sudo. So I'll try to do a better job of remembering to exit out to the main menu. Now I know why every once and a while the frontend main menu comes up over my chrome browser and I have to alt tab to get back. It's because the myth_mtc just ran successfully.
