I'm a real newbie, trying to replace my Windows Media Center installation. Years of experience in Windows etc. but little in Linux. I have two issues after installing after building a stick with the .iso on it: (hardware - is a three year old lenovo laptop)
1. The screen is shifted 2/3rds of the way to the right and "wraps" to the left side. i can not seem to find any way to adjust
2. The Wireless card was not recognized on install just ETH0 - the Ethernet card I would like to get the wireless up and running so I can connect to my silicon dust boxes.

Any pity someone can take on me and assist, would be great

Thanks

We would love to help. How about some more info first? What model Lenovo laptop are we talking about here?
Are the Silicon Dust boxes just HDHR type tuners or something else?
Why do you prefer to use WiFi instead of wired Ethernet? Ethernet is a much more stable connection for high bandwidth latency dependent data like streaming live TV to the recorder.
