I'm comtemplating removing ISDN. Does anyone use it? Yes or No. If you don't know what ISDN, Wikipedia is your friend.

If anyone replies yes and is looking for an ancient & dusty Ascend Pipleline ISDN router, let me know. :)

Unfortunately here in Oz not everyone can get broadband internet, so ISDN is a godsend to these folks, especially in business.

I can see some areas where broadband is not available people might use isdn, but is anyone really going to waste a whole isdn pipe on thier mythtv box? I would think most people building a mythtv box have a router to split the connection and thus would not need isdn support on the mythtv box.

Yeah - I voted No when I meant yes, because I didn't read the question.

Me too... Don't use ISDN, don't foresee using it, might as well get rid of it. But I confused the topic with the pol question and said "No" when I shuld have said "Yes ditch it!"

Cecil -- are you trying to make this an IQ test? If so, I failed too. Get rid of the darned ISDN already. Doesn't it stand for I Still Don't Need?

Looks like this poll is turning out to be "Did you read the poll question?"

FYI: In Europe, ISDN (BRI) is typically set up with 2-3 BRI phones, a BRI FAX machine and an ISDN card in any/all of the home's PCs. Up to 8 ISDN devices can be plugged into a subscriber loop. So yes, if there are any ETSI BRI mythtv users, it is quite possible they have an ISDN card in their box.

I am abstaining from the vote as I don't have ISDN (I'm still using an analog modem 'cuz I'm cheap).
