Hallo friends,

i've allready searched the forum and saw that there where plenty of similar threads. But no one with an exact match.

My tv-card is connected to my AsRock motherboard with an internal audiocable and that connection works. When turning up the volume on AUX channel, the sound is working just fine.

Now, the problem is that there are no sound when setting AUX channel to capture device.

I have another soundcard (which unfortunately takes up the pci-port reserved for 2. tv-card) and this card works just fine, and is naming the internal audio-connector LINE1.

Doing a dmesg | grep AUX returns:

Code:
Failed to disable AUX port, but continuing anyway... Is this a SiS?
If AUX port is really absent please use the 'i8042.noaux' option.
serio: i8042 AUX port at 0x60,0x64 irq 12

It seems to me that there might be a solution hidden in that dmesg???

Any clues? It would really make my day :?
