Sorry for the duplicate post, i accidently posted in linux general at first

MythstreamTV works but needs to buffer every 20-30 seconds no matter what the bitrate i choose. I have tried it over a LAN and it does the same thing. I thought upgrading to 0.8.5 would solve this issue however it only made it worse, now after 10 seconds of streaming the sound and video get off sync and the sound slows down horribly, does anyone know a way to get this to work properly? CPU usage is around 50% to 60% while streaming even with nice -20 infront of the VLC command.

What type of machine are you viewing the stream on and what settings are you using when you create the stream?

damn Typos R5D1 , i have tried changing every setting i have, even FPS and video size, playing it on a windows XP media player, also tried the windows VLC client for the stream, no luck

I am running VERY old knoppmyth with old vlc and ffmpeg so I cant really follow along.

maybe the verison of ffmpeg is causing issues

my FFmpeg was upgraded (required) when i upgraded my VLC , does mythstreamTV work well for anyone??

works pefectly for me

recordings and live tv. only limiting factor is my modem's upload
