Silly question, why don't I have the option to stream via mythweb from my R5B7 box?

Also what is the best way to install mythstream, mythstream-install.sh?

Many thanks

I have a similar situation - when I first installed R5B7, I had the MythStreamTV link in MythWeb. I tried it out on anothe rmachine in the house, just to see if it worked. I figued I'd eventually get around to forwarding the proper ports through my router - it might be nice to have access to streaming shows while on vacation.

Anyway, I've noticed that the MythStream links are no longer there. I haven't had a chance to look into why they no longer appear. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd be happy to give them a try.

Wow - I feel stupid (yet again)...

When my R5B7 installation was new, I know that there was link for StreamTV in the 'nav bar' that's on every MythWeb page (the nav bar near the top - typically has "MythTV: Listings | MythBurn DVD | Searches" etc...)

That link is no longer there - and since I use bookmarks & links to get to my preferred MythWeb page, I assumed that all the links to StreamTV were gone.

Your suggestion prompted me to go to http://<my_ip>/mythweb/ instead of http://<my_ip>/mythweb/tv, and the link for StreamTV is there.

Now all I need to do is look into which ports I need to forward through my router...

Thanks -

Allan

(edited for typos)
