Can MythTV use AT&T U-verse?

I would like to know of people using the U-verse with their MythTV setup and HOW are you connecting to the STB? Are you using Virtual Capture card? Are you using the regular analog connections to capture the video? How many STBs can you get? What is the quality of the video? Can you get HD channels via analog? Can you get HD channels via digital?

We need these answers!

I remember reading something about at&t uverse, but I can't seem to find it now. Maybe the wiki? It was about a month ago. I also don't remember the findings, but it seems like they got it working to some degree.

Short answers -- NO you can't get HDTV out of the U-Verse STB, since it does not have a firewire output. You can't capture HDTV at the video stage -- it must be captured while still an MPEG2 transport stream. You CAN capture standard-def signals and record them with a card such as a Happauge 150, 500, etc. But changing the channels will try your patience, as I have not heard of a solution for that issue on the U-Verse box.
