G'day,

<dumb question>
I see many references to the 'Service Menu'...
What is this and how do I get to it...???

If you're running R6 escape to the top level menu (the one with "Watch TV" on it), scroll to the bottom, and it should be there. If you're using a horizontal theme like Terra it'll be to the left of "Watch TV". If you've got a funky theme or menu style it may be elsewhere. If you've got an earlier version it won't be there.

Nope...

Last option is "System Status"
Is there anything that stops this from appearing?

<Edit 1>
Ah, I am using Project Grayhem, I seem to remember reading that it is out of date, I wonder if that is the issue? I will change to default and see what we get.

<edit 2>
I was using the classic menu layout, I needed to use the Default menu layout, then the menu option appeared!
