I've tried both of those already, unfortunately. card=10, pll=1, tuner=2 results in the same behavior. The autodetect isn't working properly either (or I never would have messed with it manually to begin with). I even tried manually changing the tuner from 1-65 in a sort of brute force attempt, but that wasn't successful either.

It is starting to sound to me like a Tier 3 card.

That is a bummer. I'd start investigating replacement tuner card.

Hmm, that guy indicated that the composite in worked on his, but it exhibited the same behavior as the tuner on mine.

Hey, make the best of it and go get a PVR-250. You'll like that better anyway.

I have a bt878 ATI TV Wonder VE and it was not Tier 1 and required a little modules options tweak but no where near as tough as this WinTV-GO dealie.

I think its Tier 3 unless someone can confirm otherwise.
