Hello whenever I try to run
tail -f /var/log/messages &
modprobe ivtv-fb
It returns a segfault and does not tell me what framebuffer my pvr-350 is running with. I am using v5r10 and now on my 3rd start from scratch after playing around can't fix my problem. This error goes along with me trying to get tv out to work but x refuses to start saying that fb0 was not found. (error could be little different not home at the moment)

try updating ivtv... I had the same problem and just recompiled according to cesman's sticky about updating ivtv

then I just added ivtv-fb to /etc/modules

well did try that and was able to update ivtv but again resulted in the same error, when i added ivtv-fb to /etc/modules the computer freeked out and froze solid half way through boot. I can't do anything with the computer now so i'm starting fresh again. i did try modprobe ivtv-fb before adding the ivtv-fb to the modules and it still caused a segfault
