I am considering buying a DVB card (either a Hauppauge Nova-S, a VisionPlus 1020A or a TechniSat Skystar 2 2.6C. I was wondering if anyone has any particular experience either good or bad and any gotcha's as far as the remote goes with either unit. I currently have a Hauppauge PVR-250 capture card but I would like to keep the signal all digital and I've also had trouble getting the lirc-blaster I bought to work at all.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
BTW, I have read through the forums looking for peoples experiences but I've not found anyone posting the particular info comparing these cards I am interested in...

I'm looking for the same answers/experience. Although I read, the IvTv drivers support Nova-s cards as well as skystar2, didn't try it out yet.

Other supplement question would be, how long those cards works when HDCP is transmitted for digital content??

Please post this in other forums as well I do in german ones, to optain ASAP more infos 'bout.
