OK, I've gotten everything else working great with mythgame...opengl fullscreen for both fceu and zsnes, the controllers are set up and i've even made a way to exit using the remote control...just one nagging little problem: when i unplug a gamepad (say, when someone trips over it as happens several times a day here), it wont work when i plug it back in, and requires a reboot to restore it. I have two different gamepads, a logitech rumblepad and a microsoft sidewinder...i've noticed that the rumblepad *seems* to be reassigned to /dev/input/js2 after disconnect instead of going back to js0, by catting the device files. Removing the device files for js2 and js3 hasn't helped, the gamepad doesnt seem to be assigned anywhere anymore. Removing and reinserting the joydev module gets closer, but for some reason it swaps the gamepads, so all the button mappings are messed up! Is there some way to fix this? Perhaps with hotplug or module settings?
