I've got an EPIA CL10000 with the CLE266 graphics chipset and hw MPEG2 decoder, and a PCHDTV-3000 card and wanted to know the status of getting my hardware combination to work fully accelerated (DRM, XvMC, proper HDTV tuning utils, and support for all that in MythTV and Xine, etc).

The Wiki is woefully outdated and the forums don't mention much except "it'll be easer in MythTV 0.18 and the R5 releases"

Does anyone have more information?

well good news and bad news. The unichrome drivers are already in R5A16 and xvmc acceleration should work fine.

now the bad news from what I've read the cle266 just won't cut it for hd playback, however the newer cn400 has some reported success, but the drivers for it are not included in knoppmyth as yet.

Well, I guess we'll see about that...

I'm going to install KnoppMyth later this week and will reply with the results.
