I've decided to build a HDTV MythTV setup.

Here is a list of the hardware I am planning on buying:

Motherboard: ASUS K8V-X
Processor: AMD Sempron 3100+
Graphics: XFX PV-T64K-NTF7 (nVidia 5200)
Hard Drive: Seagate ST3160021A (160GB)
Memory: Kingmax MPXC22D-38KT3R (512mb)
Case: Thermaltake Tenor VB2000SNS
Tuner: Fusion HDTV DVB-T Plus Tuner


Now, I have a couple of questions.
1: Does the Tuner Card work in MythTV?
2: Is the 3100+ CPU a little bit of an overkill?
3: What kind of remote do you reccommend?

overkill:not for HDTV using software decoding
remote: the one that comes with the DVICO is nice
