Would like to build a budget PVR using this hardware from newegg:

Hauppauge WINTV-PVR-150 (new one w/Remote) WILL THE REMOTE WORK?
ASUS Pundit-R Intel Socket 478 Barebone - Retail (any probs w/ this?)
Intel Celeron D 320 Prescott 533MHz FSB 256KB L2 Cache Socket 478 (sufficient?)
NEC Black IDE DVD Burner Model ND-3540A - OEM
Kingston ValueRAM 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200)
Maxtor DiamondMax 200GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA133 Hard Drive

Anyone attempted this hardware :?:

The remote works as does the builtin IR blaster for controlling an external device.

I remember some old issues (possibly resolved) with the pundit vs the pundit-r

The CPU is fast enough but the Northwood based Celeron will probably run cooler

Check that the RAM is tested with the Pundit-R, either at the Kingston or Asus website.

Have you looked through the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Hardware Recommendation forums?
