I would prefer the cordless one thought.

I use a sony playstation controller connected to the parallel port. I power it from the 3.3v from the computers power supply (although it is supposed to be possible to parasite the power from the parallel port, but I wasnt comfortable with doing that).

Mm, but it was the cordless thingy i was after. So i don't need a 5 metre cable to my sofa. Logitech only says that they don't support the Linux-plattform, as one might have guessed. So does any one know?
Are there any users out there with any kind of Logitech USB gamepad??

Answer to myself!

After googling around a bit, there seems to be no problem getting the "Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2" working in linux. Looks like my local pc-store is going to get yet another visit today. =)
Thanks for the feed-back anyway..

I wonder if you searched the forum for cordless or wireless gamepad? If you don't answer, perhaps yourself might. ;)

No, i only did a google.
After i had bought the gamepad i did a search in this forum and got LOTS of hits. :D

BTW, cesman, when i modify ~/.xmame/cfg/default.cfg so all the buttons are mapped correct(i think), when i start xmame it rollback my changes to the defaults. Very anoying! I'm i modifing the wrong file? As default all buttons works, except for INSERT COIN, SELECT and EXIT GAME. I want to map those to any of the 5,6,7,8,9,10 buttons on the gamepad.

Since you have the same model of gamepad, would it be possible for you to send me your config-files??

Is so, mail them to heos002(at)hgo.se

Thanks!!

I really dislike threads that start with a and end on d. I don't have my gamepad configured in this manner.
