I guess I misread the changelog, so here we go...

I have a USB wireless adapter w/ a Linux driver for the 2.4 Kernel

I DLed and installed R5A10 because R5A12 was the first version to mention the 2.6 Kernel, as I missed the "Built from scratch w/ Debian Sid and Knoppix scripts!" entry for R5A9. However, I tried to install the driver, and it can't find the kernel because it seems R5A10 uses 2.6.9-chw-4.

So, which is the last version to use the 2.4 Kernel, R4V5? Also, what's the best/easiest way for me to update the bundled programs & plugins to newer versions?

The bigger question is why cannot use use 2.6? 2.6 has greater support for hardware. Is there not a driver for your network device? Can you not use NDISWrapper? Yes, R4V5 is the last w/ a 2.4 kernel. There will be no more releases w/ 2.4. Consult the MythTV docs and compile from source.
