I have R5A22 installed and running but cannot view the directories on my xp machine. When I enter the //192.168.?.? ip address into explorer I see the Knoppmyth R5 page and can view the tv listings when I click on mythweb.
I have done an apt-get install samba but its already installed so I changed the password. Any ideas? It worked in my previous mythtv version.
I have a VNC installed on my xp machine. Does this version of mythtv have remote desktop included?

well you are using // which will make xp look at it as a webpage. you should use \\ to view it as network share. also you will have to enable samba first. /etc/init.d/samba start
