Just installed KnoppMyth, having trouble getting the driver to work, not sure what to set in XFree86Config-4. The "vesa" driver works, but is painfully slow - there must be a way to enable the "via" driver, but when I use that driver, the tv is unable to lock (display is garbled). This is clearly not the right driver for this board..

Board is the EPIA SP1300.

On looking in the logs, I'm advised to use the Unichrome Pro driver on sourceforge. Version 0.2.1pre0 would appear to be the right one (for the CN400 chipset) but I don't have a full "X Tree" built and the instructions are not clear on how to do this.

Has anyone built this driver on Knoppix for this board and could send me a copy?

Not sure what exactly you mean by garbled display but on a epia MII you get garbled display. Solution is to set DPMS to false under the monitor section of the XF6Config- file.

Let me know if that works on yours.

the cn400 is a new chipset on newer epia boards, and knoppmth does not yet have the driver for it. there are a few threads about it, I believe the common consensus at this time is that the problem with it is that the driver for the cn400 requires xorg and knoppmyth still currently uses xfree.
