When I start Xine, a cursor shows up when the splash page shows up and it stays there for about 3 seconds. Is there an option I can set to prevent the cursor from ever showing up in Xine, or during this startup?

thx.

That gets rid of the splash screen, but not the cursor...
Is this a problem because I have a mouse attached to the box?

I have not idea what the problem is, but it's not because of having a mouse attached as I have a mouse attached, and I do not get the problem.

Hmm, well Xsecrets, share the love:
what are your Xine start commands?
What version of xine-lib and xine-ui are you using?

My start commands are:
video: xine -pfhq
iso: xine -pq -V Xv -f dvd://%s

xine-lib version: 1.1.0
xine-ui version: 0.99.4
